Company Statement update 07/09/20
After careful consideration we have made a decision that as a company we will not be reopening the swimming pool this season. We feel that under the current Government advice we cannot operate the pool safely to ensure the full safety for our customers. During this current pandemic our heating pump also broke and we have been unable to source a new one.
Company Statement update 02/08/20
Following Friday’s review we will be opening our indoor bar and coffee bar area tomorrow, Monday 3rd August from midday (breakfast will not be available tomorrow). Part of the bar area will be available to book tables for meals only. There will be a deposit of £5 per person required and bookings will need to be made on the day at the bar. You will have you table for a maximum of 2.5 hours. There will also be tables available for first come first served. Tables for breakfast will also be on a first come first served basis only, no bookings available.

Also following the First Minister’s announcement on Friday, from 10th August swimming pools can reopen, we have made the decision that we will not be opening our pool until further notice. As a company we do not feel that we can operate the pool safely for our customers at this current time.

Company Statement update 05/07/20
Following the latest announcement from the Welsh Government we can now open from the 11th July subject to the review on the 10th July. This is at this stage only for caravans / campervans / motor homes with toilet & kitchen facilities. Tents with toilet tents are not accepted.
At this time we still have no date when we can start accepting tents.
At the moment we can only take bookings for 2 of our glamping pods (Pod Lodge and the 5 berth family pod)
We have had to alter our check-in & Check-out times for both bungalows and glamping pods to the following:
Check-in – from 5.30pm please collect your key from reception, only 1 person is to come and collect the key.
Check-out – by 10.00am please place you key in the black letter box outside the reception door.
This has been done to allow our cleaning teams to deep clean the bungalows to ensure they are safe and ready for the next guest.
All bookings must now be paid in full before arrival. We will be contacting 1 week prior to arrival to confirm your booking and take the remaining balance, this will limit the amount of contact when you arrive and speed up your check in process.
Bedding in the bungalows – for extra safety & hygiene measures bedding will now automatically be added at the reduced rate of £5.00 per bed.

Further information regarding re-opening
We are preparing the site to reopen on 13th July following further guidelines published yesterday (29th June).
We now know that touring caravans/motorhomes/campervans do fall into the self contained category (must have their own toilet/shower/kitchen facilities). All shared facilities will remain closed – toilet & shower block, washing up area, bar & coffee bar, swimming pool, children’s park/play area and laundrette. Water points and disposal points can be used (safety information will be published/sent out). This is subject to travel restrictions being lifted and all necessary easements being made in the next review announcement (10th July).
Points to take into consideration
• You will not be able to use the bar/reception toilets when you arrive. Service stations are open, you will have to wait until your unit is set up to use your own toilet facility
• Children must be accompanied at ALL TIMES
• The children’s park/sand pit will be taped off and all swings will be removed.
• We will not be operating at 100% capacity whilst we ease into the new normal, please maintain a 2 metre distance at all times.
We ask you abide by the rules that we are having to implement, failure to do so may result in you being made to leave the site without refund.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back after a long few months. Please bear with us, this is completely new to us as it is to you and we are trying our best, some things may not work/need changing over the first few weeks. If something isn’t as you would like please come and see us.

Our company statement regarding COVID-19 (updated 22/6/20)
At last, some good news.
According to the latest announcement by the Welsh Assembly on Friday 19th June 2020.
We have been told to make preparations to reopen on 13th July 2020.
This is conditional on the coronavirus figures continuing to fall and social distancing being maintained, more detail will be announced on the next review on Friday 10th July 2020.
At present they have announced that accommodation without shared facilities should be able to open, the only sectors mentioned specifically being static caravans and holiday cottages.
This implies that our toilet blocks, swimming pool, bar and cafe and children’s play area will not be useable.
The policies are revised every 3 weeks by the Welsh Assembly and may change. We will amend this statement update and inform you accordingly.
At this present time we will not be taking any new bookings, we need time to make preparations and changes to some procedures to make it safe for both our customers and our staff. Please bear with us if you are trying to contact us via telephone, we are operating on skeleton voluntary staff on reduced office hours. Our office hours are currently 9am till 3pm.
