Beaches in Gower
The dramatic landscape of the Gower Peninsula must be seen to be believed. The closest beach to Bank Farm is Horton Bay & Port Eynon which is easily accessible. Just a short stroll past the onsite shop and down through the village. For those who wish to drive there is a car park located at the end of road which is run by the Council so charges will apply. On the Port Eynon side of the bay you will find two lovely fish & chip shops, a large gift shop, surf shop, Coffee shop, The Smugglers Beach Bar & Kitchen and The Ship Inn (dog friendly bar & restaurant).
Three Cliffs Bay is one of the most dramatic beach locations in Britain. A 20 minute walk down to reveal its true splendour. You can park in Parkmill by The Gower Heritage Centre and walk from there.
The huge, sweeping Rhossili Bay, featuring the broad expanse of Llangennith beach is equally awe-inspiring. It’s as if you’ve reached the furthest point of land on the planet. It’s also the perfect spot for the most beautiful sunsets. In Rhossili you will find the Worms Head pub, The look out (renowned for their pizza’s), The Bay Bistro (perfect for an evening meal serving exceptional food) The car park is owned by The National Trust which has a flat rate tariff. Tip: you can park in the church car park if there is space and make a donation.
This is just a very small selection of beaches in the Gower.
