What to do if you have a bad experience at Bank Farm
We do everything we can to make sure that you have the best possible experience here at Bank Farm. We do recognise, however, that we don’t always get that right. When that happens we always encourage you to tell us about your experience at the time, this will help us put matters right.
Fabulous family break
Had a weekend break with family in 2 bungalows and a glamping pod. I was a bit sceptical, having seen recent reviews, but we had an amazing time. The bungalows were modern, clean and well equipped. The hot tub was lovely and very clean.
My family used the pool and said it was absolutely fine. The food at the bar was fantastic and all the staff were exceptional. My only criticism (and this is a very picky point) is that I don’t really understand why the 5 bed bungalow did not have bedding. Thank you for a great stay…we would definitely come back if we are in the area.
Bank Farm Tent Camping
First time been to Bank Farm. Kids enjoyed it and will definitely go again.
Clean toilet and bathroom.
Sea wasn’t to far from out pitch.
Swimming pool was very clean and everyone has to have a time slot which was good.
Large campsite for tents and caravans
Large campsite, on tranquil cliff site site with great views.
Large campsite for tents and caravans. Swimming pool and shop add some extra needed bits.
Cafe food was a good breakfast, bit lacking on service but never in a rush.
Swimming pool needed booking but gave an extra thing to do for the kids.
Location on cliff, above the village and beach was ideal; giving great views and a quick walk down to the sea.
Fab stay
Fab bungalow 37 extremely clean highly recommend.
School DOfE camping trip
Went here for DOfE silver camping trip lovely site and lots of lovely walks in the area and sunset at night is amazing. Staff at reception was lovely and really enjoyed it I’d recommend it to anyone doing DOfE or anyone that wanted to rent a caravan on the site xxx
Perfect
Excellent 5 star service from café/bar staff. No hassle, easy arrival straight to pitch (which was absolutely perfect) stunning views over the gower. Stunning location! All amenities were spotless and well managed. 100 percent recommend this beautiful campsite.
An absolute gem
We loved everything about this site, from the very helpful girl on reception to reimbursement of monies not used for electric!
Nice big pitches with amazing views over the bay, clean facilities with plenty of toilets and showers and a great swimming pool (covered when we visited). The club house was a bonus with friendly staff and really good food at reasonable prices.
The stunning beach is a steep 10 minute walk but worth the effort.
Thank you Brian and staff, we only had one night but will be back for longer next time
Great facilities
We brought our tourer here for a week over the august bank holiday. First time in the campsite recommended by a friend. The lines to get in were difficult to navigate with a caravan on the back, but we managed. The views were breathtaking, wish we’d brought some wood blocks to level out the van as we were wonky all week, but the views were totally worth it. Electric on smart meter was good, u get a refund on what u don’t use. We also purchased the Wi-Fi, which was needed as we had not one bar on phone signal or internet service between us. Our 3 kids (14, 14, & 6) loved it, plenty of space between guests for ball games etc. They also loved the pool & I literally couldn’t keep them out of it. As we were end of summer we could come & go as pleased with no booking required. (Be aware this meant no staff supervision, so u need to be there with your younger kids, even if you just watch). Luckily we were right next to toilet/shower block, & even though there’s only the block we never had to wait or queue. They were basic, but had what was needed (including a free hairdryer in the ladies). However they could have been kept a little cleaner. I seen the floors getting mopped in the mornings, but the shower cubicle walls & floors, definitely needed a good clean. The bar was nice with a pool table in the back & a park opposite. Overall we had an amazing stay & would definitely book again, the kids are already asking when we can go back. But again booking is a problem, website never brings up dates (making u think none available), but this happens with every date, & hard to reach on the phone lines, we tried for days to get through. Even the signs outside the campsite said “no room” however there were empty fields & pitches the week we were there. This maybe needs looking at.
Long weekend
Just returned from a long weekend staying in a bungalow at Horton, which was lovely, beautifully clean & well equipped (we paid extra for bed linen, the better option we felt). The bungalow was above our expectations & even had a sea view I think we must have just been fortunate (each bungalow has its own parking space).
We were visiting friends who have a static caravan on the same site so was perfect for us.
Scenery is outstanding
Just come back from 3 nights camping here and so wished we had book for at least a week. The caravan/camp site was so peaceful and chilled and in such a lovely area. Facilities were great for all age groups from families with young children to the retired. The showers/toilets are centrally located and the showers provide lovely hot water. There are lots of play areas for children and a lovely indoor/outdoor swimming pool. The village shop only takes cash but you can get that at reception. Would definately return. The beach is outstanding, accessed via a walk down hill or via a car park near the beach. Clear skies. Great for astronomy buffs.
