Frequently Asked Questions about Bank Farm

Some of our most common frequently asked questions are shown here. If you cannot find the answer to your query below or on other pages on the website, please contact the office who will be happy to help you.

We are a dog friendly site, there a several locations to dispose of dog waste. All we ask is that you keep them safe on leads and clean up after them.

Unfortunately we do not allow dogs in the main building except guide dogs. We do have bungalows that are pet free.

The nearest Tesco, Morrisons, ASDA Etc… are in Swansea.

Located 2 miles towards Swansea on the A4118 there is a Texaco Petrol Station which has a good range of fresh and frozen food available, then a little further located in Penclawdd there is a large CK’s Supermarket. Please note that deliveries from Supermarkets is not allowed – please make arrangements to collect deliveries off site.

Bed linen and towels is included in all bungalows and glamping pods

We do not have a cash machine on site. We do however have a service free of charge which allows you to withdraw money from your account – this can be done in the reception area or in the bar area.

All card transactions have a minimum spend of £10.00.

We do have regular entertainment here at Bank Farm ranging from Singers, Duo’s, Tributes, Disco and Live Bands.

Then for the children we have various events throughout the year such as Disco’s, Magic shows, Princess & Pirate Parties.

Then the showcase evening New Year’s Eve which always has a theme and all the family have a great evening.

Yes by all means you can book specific pitches or if you would like somewhere you have pitched before we can search your history with previous bookings.

Please state this when booking.

Your pitch will be allocated when you book, therefore if you wish to be located next to your friends please make provisions to book at the same time.

If you are booking a larger party we suggest that one person gathers the deposits and all the details of the individual bookings and makes the booking either over the phone or in person. This way all the pitches will be allocated together.

It is highly recommending that you book and pay a deposit to secure a pitch.

Of course you are more than welcome to just turn up however we cannot guarantee you a pitch.

We do not book tables for meals. You need to find a table then place your food order at the bar.

Sunday Lunch – we can book your meal for you but we do not book the table so you need to come in and find a table before placing your food order.

The bar opens at 11.00am daily and serves alcohol until 11.00pm, 10.30pm on Sundays.

We do operate a challenge 25 policy – if you are luckily enough to look under the age of 25, you may be asked to prove you are over the age of 18.

We stock and sell Calor Gas bottles.

You can exchange or purchase the bottle with us at the main reception office.

We have a security firm who patrol the site on a regular basis during the high season.

They are very friendly and approachable should you need their assistance.

Noise must be of an acceptable level after 10.00pm.

If you are asked to turn your music / TV off, please don’t take this to heart we are just respecting other campers.

We would like everyone to have an enjoyable holiday. Please acknowledge and respect other campers.

We have a zero tolerance policy regarding violence physical/verbal and you will be removed off site.

We do have CCTV on site which covers the majority of the site.

The golf Buggies are not for hire.

Here at Bank Farm we do allow small pit fires. Please don’t be offended if we feel it is too big / dangerous and you are asked to put it out.

Disposable BBQ’s are allowed but please put bricks underneath to avoid scorching the ground and dispose of them appropriately when finished with once they are cold.

We are located on the top of the hill overlooking the beach. You can either walk down through the village past the shop and straight down the hill, or there is a rough path located in front of Field 3 (this path is unsuitable for pushchairs).

There is a pay and display car park at the bottom of the hill if you wish to drive down.

There are toilet facilities in the car park.

Arrival time for the Holiday Bungalows and glamping pods is after 4.00pm.

Arrival time for all other accommodation is after 1pm.

Children can go in the pool from 11am till 7pm.

All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult otherwise entry will be refused.

Please note that the pool is only available for the guests of Bank Farm.

Yes, the swimming pool is heated. It is heated via an air source heat pump and the average temperature is 29 degrees.

Bedding in the holiday bungalows is an optional extra at £7.00 per bed. If you do not wish to request bedding then you will need to supply your own sheets for the mattress, quilt and pillows.

The 4 Berth Bungalows have one double bed and two single beds.

The 5 Berth Bungalows have one double, one single and a set of bunk beds.

Bed linen is included in the hot tub bungalows.
